The past couple of weeks have felt very crazy and stressed over in this household. Various things adding up have made us exhausted and most of us fighting colds in some way or another. We do, thankfully, feel a bit more rested already, but the extreme business continues for a couple more days at least.
We are very excited that my (Faith) parents will be arriving here Tuesday evening!!!!! They'll be here just over 2 weeks, and most of that time is over the girls' Spring Break which ends up being perfect. We haven't seen dad in over a year, and mom in about 8 1/2 months...it's the longest we've gone without seeing them. We're excited to relax with them, have them meet some of our friends, show them the city a bit, have them celebrate Easter with us and our church family here, and take a couple holiday days as well. Brooklyn especially is counting down the days, telling us first thing in the morning how many days left. I'm the most excited to have them get to know our kids a bit more. All 3 have changed so much and there's only so much you can do through skype to keep them updated. I mean, the last time we saw dad, Nolan was barely even walking.
Today is another busy day for me, but right now I sense it's business to help fill me up. This morning is a Missionary Ladies Bible Study (ladies from all over GDL, not just our team), a group that I love being a part of. It's a time to just join together with others in the same situations like us. This afternoon Brooklyn has an appt but then after that it's a coffee evening with Tara and Connie, which will also be a time to be with other women/moms/wives...a time to encourage and love one another.
