Time to update...

Within this last week we have had....SEASONS CHANGE....well, not really, but it's almost as close as we get:) Rainy season has begun!! I think it's early for it, but we have enjoying cooler weather (we consider 30 degrees a cool day haha), clouds and daily rain later afternoon/evening. We have needed fans less at night, kids are actually complaining about being cool in the morning for school, and we can leave windows and doors open almost all day to let air breeze through the house. Have I ever mentioned we don't really have any bugs? One of the best things of living here is that everything can be open and no bugs will come in....other than spiders through our ceilings and the very odd cockroach...only seen 2 this spring though which is pretty good. This change of weather  also helps us have more energy. The heat really affects us in May (the hot month) and there are days where it's very hard to focus on anything, so we are very thankful for less sweat and and more energy:)

Last week Brooklyn had her lip bumper (the outer part) taken off and is now more comfortable and can talk clearer as well. She still has the inner wire and will be having an inner wire be put on her upper jaw as well. Her bottom teeth took half as long to move as we thought it would, a big blessing for her. So they just need to move a bit now to align together properly.

Nolan continues to make our heart jump with how busy he is. If he isn't watching tv and we can't hear him, we better run as who knows what he's getting into. He is just busy and with no fear. Last week he was at John and Connie's while we had an appt. They left the room 5 mins and in that time he decided to go for a walk by himself. They searched and started looking outside as the security guard was walking Nolan back to their house...he told us he went walking to look for us. He is fast, quiet, and did I mention he has no fear?

Emma is thriving in school and continues to love school. She is now already (she's in Kinder 2 which is like preschool in Canada) reading in Spanish quite a bit, and some English. Did not expect that to start yet but she also has been a quick learner and catches on to new things quickly.

The girls have only 2 weeks left of school!!! Brooklyn has her Pre-First Grad on the 27th and then it's Summer Holidays.....not sure yet how I feel about that....This summer we will be helping out another church with their VBS again, so the kids will have that for a week, and we're also taking a week of holidays and heading to Mazatlan!!!! But between those weeks I think we'll try to make a bit of a routine at home to keep from boredom.

Not sure what else to update on for the time being...anyone have any curiosities or questions I could answer to?
