Well, the plan was for us to be gone for the next couple of days without our kids. BUT the plan changed yesterday when Emma and Nolan both got sick. We are still waiting to see if this is the chicken pox..so far no spots. Thankfully no fevers today, but very little eating and very mellow kids. Nolan had a 5 hour nap, and Emma has been in bed the past 4 hours as well. Also we are so thankful these kids aren't whiny or crying all the time...just mellow and cuddly:)
LeRoy and Brooklyn decided to go on a date this afternoon as why keep us all cooped up. So here I am enjoying the quiet as Nolan plays happily beside and Emma continues to sleep on.
Why is it that when you're so busy you don't know how you are ever going to get everything done, and then when you have time like this to get stuff done you can't even think of what it is you need/should do?

Yes, your children are your ministry as parents, and GOD DELIGHTS IN THIS. GOD THRIVES on seeing how well you are taking care of them. He would have/want it NO other way!! Home is where we are first placed:) Somehow the responsiblities that we need to do, just get taken care of. God is our best 'lookout' to go place!!Keep your heads up high!!
You will get away sometime. Just think, you could leave knowing that you get a free supper out of the deal...but don't count on it though:)
