Back to School

Today the girls went back to school. We are/were all very excited, maybe me the most, but then yesterday major nerves hit Brooklyn which made us nervous as well. You see, this year Brooklyn moved to Primaria (Elementary) and started Grade 1 (really like Grade 2 in Canada since she had an extra year between Kindergarten and Grade 1). Grade 1 at Lincoln School is across the street from the Kinder classes and is in the "big kids" school (Grade 1-12) so it was a big deal for her and her friends. Everything is new for her and in a way is like going to a new school, except all her old friends are there too. Emma has been excited to go back almost all summer and started Kinder 3, which is like Kindergarten in Canada. Pretty much everything remains the same for Emma as last year, other than just changing teachers. Last night it was very hard for the girls to fall asleep due to the emotions so we weren't sure what to expect this morning..

They woke up SO EXCITED!!!! First morning back to school went way smoother than we expected and they were glad to see all their friends once again.

 I was so excited for this quiet morning, but now it feels so weird and too quiet...I already miss them and am so excited to hear their stories from their first day back:)
