Today Brooklyn had her first swimming lessons. Like I have previously mentioned we live a 2 minute walk away from the Pan Am pool here in Guadalajara, so that is where she is taking lessons. She was really excited about it until just before we entered the gate entrance. It was a very difficult first time but in the end she had a lot of fun and is really excited to go back on Thursday. Swimming lessons go all year round here, and several times a week. We could choose for her to go daily Mon-Fri, or Mon, Wed, Fri, or Tues and Thurs. She is going Tuesday and Thursday because more than that is just too much for kids this age...our opinion. It was really exciting to see her excitement while getting ready and after the fact...she realized how special it is that she gets to go swimming twice a week and Emma and Nolan can't...she was quite proud of that fact.
