What is normal life....I really have no clue. haha We had the MissonX team back with us for a few days this week, and this morning LeRoy and Dallas brought them to the airport. Nobody in our house heard the alarms so LeRoy thankfully woke up only 5 mins after they were supposed to have left the house. Never seen 5 people up and out of the house in 10 mins that early in the morning.
Today was a refreshing day taking life a bit easier (whatever that really means with 3 small kids) and it was nice. Now begins "normal" life, which changes day to day, week to week, always changing on us. We have a few week break from visitors now until the Prayer Team comes, which we're really excited about. 2 from our home church are coming and it'll be so good to connect with them that week.
Special things coming up in the next couple weeks also include...EMMA'S BIRTHDAY!!!! She'll be turning the big 5 and we're planning a birthday party for her at school...1/2 hour and it's over. YAY!! I may be more excited than her on that one...no huge party to plan, no games to plan, no piñata, or extra costs. Just food for all the 4 - 5 year olds (not sure if any one is already 5 in her class, or if she's the oldest), and her cake that she has picked out and I'm a bit scared to start decorating it. Rapunzel has been chosen for her theme so Rapunzel will be the cake...with enough cupcakes for all so I don't even have to cut the cake a the party:)
Also coming up on Feb 15 is our 10th Anniversary. 10 YEARS!!!! Wow...that's another post needed on that, but we'll get to celebrate by going away for 2 nights at a fancy hotel here in the city. It is such a blessing to have friends here so you can trade babysitting with....Yes Tara, I fully expect to babysit this year for a couple days for you too:)
Anyway....my book is calling me from my bedroom (my favorite most relaxing place in our house, oooh possible post idea). Have a great weekend to you all:)
